Late summer bookshop tour in NZ... Best way to see the passion and smarts children's booksellers are bringing to their game, and the (as ever) outstanding quality of local writers and illustrators. A shoutout and thanks to my Harper Collins chaperone Bayleigh Gibson as well as to all the lovely, welcoming people at Book Hero, Dorothy Butler, The Booklover and Little Unity. Signed some copies, did a reading and even got roped into a couple of awful reels!
